Mom Reveals Nostalgic Moment ‘No One Prepares You For’ After Giving Birth

A woman has reached a significant milestone with her younger sister, and social media users can’t wait to experience the moment for themselves.
Caysie Rose posted a slideshow of photos that shows her holding her baby sister when she was born and another of said sibling holding Rose’s newborn baby girl; something she wrote that “no one prepares you for” in the text overlay.
Rose, who goes by @mannah.hontana on TikTok, told Newsweek about the deep connection that she has with her sister, who is nearly a decade younger than her.

“I posted this video to show how sentimental it was that my baby sister was holding my baby girl,” the new mom from Missouri said.
“I remembered holding her the same way she held my baby, and it felt so special [that] I wanted to share it on my TikTok account,” she added.
Coming from a large family with six siblings, Rose has always shared a close bond with her sisters.

However, her relationship with her youngest sister is particularly special because, at 10 years old, Rose “basically raised” her when she was born.
“I wanted to do anything and everything with her and for her,” the 22-year-old said. “What 10-year-old doesn’t love babies?” she added.

As the eldest sister, Rose was like a second mom to her sibling, a responsibility that she said she believes prepared her well for an important role in the future. “Having siblings so much younger than me definitely prepared me for motherhood,” she added.
Rose’s video has received over 791,000 views and hundreds of comments from other social-media users who could relate to a strong sibling relationship.
“A ton of people have been tagging their siblings, saying that they can’t wait to experience this,” Rose told Newsweek.
“And then your baby holding your sister’s baby. That’s what my brother is about to experience in less than a month,” one TikTok user said.
“Damn, mama really said copy and paste,” another viewer wrote.
Speaking about the reaction online, Rose said that so many users commented how much she and her sister look alike, and said that she wasn’t expecting the video to get so much attention.
“I’m glad that people can connect with it,” the poster added.
